About

Established in 2011 by Kyros Papavassiliou, dryTree films was founded to produce original, independent films characterized by poetic vision and philosophical depth.

Since its creation, the company has produced two feature films and seven short films, including:

• Impressions of a Drowned Man — Rotterdam IFF Tiger Competition

• The Sock — Thessaloniki IFF Premiere, Best Director Award, Cyprus Film Days 2025

​

DryTree Films is now expanding its creative reach through European co-productions, including Yiannis, a Cyprus–Greece collaboration with Graal, currently in post-production.
